As I was going through different words Holy Spirit has spoken, I came across a word given to North Dakota....in I believe 1991...at Aglow in Minot. Not by me. I believe it is still relevant as we know, religion is so prominent in ND!! See if you witness with it...It was a David and Goliath conference! The first meeting began with a trumpet...awesome alert in the Spirit....then the song Come to the Table of Mercy. I remember it so clearly. My spirit was astonished at what I sensed. Then this word came forth.
The Giant in our Land (North Dakota)
There's a giant in our land ...and religion is of its hand. I will bring this giant to the ground, saith the Lord, for no longer will power in him be found.This spirit twists, splits and divides...as its face is always having a disguise.It will push and rule, using its master's lying and deceptive tools. It tries to impress by its zeal..but its 'fire is not of My Wheel.'Its worship may seemingly be of praise...while its captives live in a darkened haze.
I will strip this giant of his pride...and upon him my Church shall ride. For the 'mystery of iniquity' is found in her, which to many is nothing but a blur. Its humanistic spirit is of old and has grown to be very aggressive and bold.
This thundering giant walks through the land...breathing out threats of hate to all men. He is cunning and crafty and has learned his trade well...for in Heaven he did sit for a spell. I will bring this spirit down, as RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PRAISE in My Church is found.
He devours ,plunders and binds, where there is no resistance in its captive's mind. He comes as very wise and smart, but the lion and the bear are of his true heart.
The Spirit of Lord of Hosts is beckoning again, let's bind this great giant in his den. My life is one of consuming fire, and many have I beckoned for the hire. Repentance is still the same, and it will bring the power to heal the lame. For then the people will surely see to whom they are really bowing their knee.
For I am the Rock on which you can securely stand, I Am should always be the 'Spirit of this land. For the darkness of this world is not of My Life, and should not be found in any part of my wife.
I have great heights for all to climb, to lead the Armies that are of Mine. The Victor's crown has been given for all...but some will drift and fall.
Do not trust in great riches or fame, for they are as worthless as their name. I have a great plan for all to see, but it can only be found in Me. I have many great Treasures yet untold...and they are seasonally held in my fold. The earth and the heavens are Mine and to you My treasures will be released in My time. Don't lose confidence in what I have to say, for the laborer in the end does reap his pay.
All religion is a deception of who God really is and what He is doing on the earth today. Satan must have a stronghold as a base of operation to release his demonic forces into any given area. He uses cultural influences passed down from generation to generation to hold these people in bondage to himself.
Religion never deals with the heart of man's problems. Nor does it have the answers or power to set man free! Satan cannot love with his heart. Religion becomes a mask to disguise or cover the real heart problem.
Brokenness with repentance.... before Jehovah, El elyon, the God above all gods....brings LIFE, not religion! In praises to the Captain of our Salvation!
